Charlotte is London-based guitarist with over 8 years of playing experience. She plays a wide-range of styles including; metal, blues, rock, r n’ b, funk, soul, fusion and flamenco. Her specialities are metal and flamenco and she learnt under UK leading rock tutor Martin Goulding and also with renowned flamenco guitarist Francisco Antonio. Charlotte’s influences include; Robben Ford, Jeff Beck, Lee Ritenour, Greg Howe, Tony Macalpine, Dave Mustain and Juan Serrano among others.
She began studying at The Institute of Contemporary Performance London (ICMP) in April 2007 and completed a Higher Diploma in Popular Music Performance. She then continued her studies at ICMP by completing a BMus in Popular Music Performance and graduated in November 2012. She also gained a Licentiate in Music Teaching in her final year of studies at ICMP.
Charlotte has over 6 years of teaching experience and has taught a huge range of ages and abilities. She continues to teach privately and is always looking out for new ways to use her skills to help students reach their potentials! Charlotte also has over 7 years of performance experience as she has extensively played in function bands, metal and rock bands, hip hop bands, flamenco duets and orchestras. She also does session work for a large number of different singers who play in all different styles including; r n’b, soul, rap and rock.
